Led interior lights staying on ?

Hi
I have just fitted new led bulds to the front and middle interior lights in the roof.
They work great, very bright.
But I have noticed when they are off they are still very slightly glowing.
Even with keys out and the doors locked.
Can anyone advise, should there still be a small amount of current?
The only time they completely go out is if I put the switch on them to off.

Are they CANBUS compatable?

Does it matter for interior lights.
Surely there should be power going to them or not going to them ?

I thought it was due to the cars circuits monitoring the health of the systems continuously meaning theres a very small current in the system all the time?
Not enough to light a normal bulb but enough for an LED bulb to glow if its not a canbus compatible type??

Yes I think so. The original lights have a certain resistance, LED lights have a lower resistance. The CANBUS compatable LED lights have resistors built in to make them match the resistance of the original bulbs.
Mine are CANBUS LEDs with no problems.

I put canbus bulbs in my interior lights and had the same problem so went back to standard bulbs,mines a 07 if that makes any difference.

So is mine. Mine is fine with LEDs interior and exterior. No flickering or staying on.

They are canbus.
Does anyone know what resistor I can bridge the terminals with ?

CANBUS LEDs have resistors in them, no need to bridge.

Yes I do as I have stated they are still illuminated when all switched off.

Any ideas?

Use Osram or Phillips LED globes which are OE Fitment. You'll have no problems but they're not as cheap!
They also fade dim gradually once you close all doors.

Never had this with any of my LEDs, just done my Disco. Bought LEDs from advanced factors, the light is awesome.

Perhaps a fuse Question

Fitted a 3w resistor bridging the connections and all is now fine.
Super white light in the interior now.
