We left home last Saturday towing the great off white suitcase (caravan) heading to Portsmouth to catch the ferry to Saint malo. We stopped over night at Telford . All in all let's call it 500 miles , in that time/distance I saw 3 police cars one was a traffic cop. We arrived in France on Monday , again I've driven about 500 miles since Monday I've seen at least 8 police cars and 6 police bikes .
The fuel here is cheap 1€10 on average for diesel and there isn't any toll roads in Brittany , the roads are as smooth as silk, even the wee back roads that have been repaired. Do it now ! Your a long time dead !!
