What should I do?

As I sit here on a very sunny day, wanting to go fishing or sailing, I can't because the FL2 is again in the dealership pound.
Do I keep the thing or not.
History of vehicle. 2009 HSE Auto. Dealership demo. with 8.000mls. on clock. It has now done 38.200mls.
Problems to date.
Vibration. New rear disc.
Vibration still there. New toque converter.
Starter motor failed, replaced.
Starter motor failed again, replaced,
Key fob jammed, new fob.
Oil leak. New crank seal.
Throttle body failed, replaced.
Drivers door lock failed, not fixed yet.
Steering lock jammed, awaiting repair.
So in the 30.200mls I have owned it, it has broken down or needed a repair nine times.
That equates to an average of 3.300mls between having to repair it.
What do you lads think?

Aren't the Volvo's basically the same as an FL2?

Thanks lads. The dealer I detest and only used them for the warranty work. Got to use them this time because no one else can get the thing going.
I must admit the adverts for a tough go anywhere vehicle stick in the old gullet some. Can't believe just how fragile this thing is.
Thinking Toyota Land Cruiser.

30000 miles since you bought it how long in time. Probably too late to invoke Sale of goods act.
Possibly should have rejected vehicle before now.

If it were me I'd keep it for a bit to see how it goes. All the faults are fixed so you can tick them off as ok. That list is nothing compared to my FL1 ownership over 30k miles. Hippo's videos - Honorary Tratterer

I had it for seven months before things started going wrong. Six months is the time limit for rejection.
Hippo you must have a real heap if it's worse than mine.
I would burn it if I could get the Censored that sold it to me to sit in it at the same time.

know the feeling mate, car is Censored , dealers are Censored , customer relations are also Censored ( the ones I spoke to anyway )

my advice ... get shot as soon as.

will never ever go near Land Rover again. If it wasn't so bad it'd be funny.

Freelander 2 HSE auto 2014 ( Florrie ) ..... Try again.
Freelander 2 GS 2012...... Gone.

When its working its a nice drive and very comfortable. Before we purchased it we test drove all the competition, it was the best of the bunch.
The option of keeping it, wondering when its going break down and how much more money I will have to throw at it is a headache,
Swap it for an other manufacture, loose a considerable amount of money and maybe get an other lemon.
Any whey I have plenty of time to consider my dilemma, the dealer will not even look at it until the 20th Aug.
Wonderful aren't they.
All the best Paul.
