I was driving along the other day in my FL2 thinking about all of the cars I have owned or have had has a company cars over the years going back to the early 70's and it suddenly struck me that FL2s are the only cars that I have had where I worry about things going wrong. Perhaps because of the experience of my family and others (or reading this forum?). I think it's a great car but whenever I get in and drive off I am mildly surprised that it is still working. The fl2 is a little addictive, and to get more a forum is a good top up 😂
Most peaple are quick to moan etc, and some only use a forum when they have a prob 🙉🙊🙈

all the off road abuse you give yours is probably the reason WHY you don't have diff problems................... all the components are getting a good workout instead of sitting idle like the rest of ours

My first LR was a D3 and it needed a whole new engine 2 months before the warranty ended, I'm about to take delivery of my 8th LR, 3rd Disco. I wouldn't drive anything else, I looked but there was only one car for me, the Discovery. There is only 2 LRs I've never taken to, my Evoque and DS.

My Freelander isn't the most unreliable car I have owned, that was a TR7 It IS the best car I have owned, I just look at any issues as character but that could be because I watched Herbie when I was younger or that I love the comfort or that I have a warranty, etc. Hopefully my relationship with Chuggaboom will be a long one.
