About to be new owner of first land rover

To pick up our Freelander 2, 12 plate SD4 GS tomorrow. Looking forward to our first Land Rover and cannot wait to put on the road. Expect more posts over the next few months. Will be looking for dog protection floor mats for boot in a short while.

I would suggest trying the floor protectors from leisureshack.co.uk

SWMBO and I each have their boot protectors and they have lasted very well and are only £34.

But above all, enjoy your (first) Land Rover, you won't go back to a normal car again!

Freelander 1 Estate - leased, given back at end of lease
200TDi Disco (bought from a mate with 100,000 on the clock) - Gone
Disco 2 TD5 - sold and exported to France
FR2 TD4 GS - Gone
FR2 SD4 HSE - Now changed for a DS
New model ex-demo Evoque S 180 in white
Unable to order a new DS, so gave up. Now have a Volvo S90 Recharge.

Not quite true, I did, went away but have come back again after trying the alternatives.
Land Rovers have their faults but theres something about their presence all the others dont have somehow.

Dorset, afraid not do not work at LR but within touching distance of the new Plant. Looks fantastic. I am from the world of construction dealing with private Building Regulations.

Just a couple of photos of the FL2. Been on the road across to Shrewsbury and then to Sheffield for the weekend and enjoyed the ride. More photos to follow.
