I wouldn't normally brag...........

But I think this photo of 'Freddie' my Freelander 2 taken at a beautiful layby alongside Loch Lomond on our way back from The Isle of Mull is awesome and probably one of the best photos I've ever taken. What do you think?

Looks really good but would have to see the rest of your pictures to make an informed decision! Mr. Green

Might be me, but I'd have liked to be able to see what wheels it's got on it. Too arty farty for me.

The positives of not seeing the wheels are you can't tell how blathered in mud and crud it is!! Thumbs Up Current 2008 Freel2 HSE

There are very few bad photos, bad photo's are the ones with missing heads etc.
If you like it it's good.

Now, being picky and this is a pet hate of mine, horizons should be level, especially with water, your picture seems a little off and it's the first thing I notice.
Contrast between the sky and the ground is a bit much, either a bit more just to show the wheels but certainly darken the sky.
I like it though, cars are very easy to take pictures of, taking a stunning picture of one is not so easy and you have come very close with that and you are pleased with it and rightly so Thumbs Up

Go and do some more ...

I agree with Taz. Lovely photo but contrast is tricky. This is when you start muddying the waters with filters and dodge and burn etc. Photo editing is a bit like Land Rover ownership, once you start to tinker that's you.

As I say tho, nice shot and a lovely place to visit. And of course nice car Wink Learned to drive in 2011.
Bought a Micra - great little car
"Upgraded" to Kia Sportage - hated it
Proper upgrade to FL2 TD4 GS 60 reg Facelift - tailgate paint issues, fuel gauge rewire, transfer box failure at 36k miles, clutch at 60k
Reconditioned diff at 70k ish

I did take a few others with maybe a better perspective and in colour aswell but in my defence i was trying to avoid a) including her indoors or the kids in the photo and B) the big pile of rubbish that someone had dumped there and also a possible pool of P**s!!!

It didnt detract from what was a lovely drive from Mull and even though there was a long queue of cars constantly zipping past it was such a lovely spot to stop for a few moments Current 2008 Freel2 HSE

Without getting too off topic, that's the problem with Loch Lomond - its proximity to Glasgow. Folk come up for the day or night with ideas that nature means drinking and littering as normal, just close to water. Hate the way they and others ruin it. Remember one sunny day stepping over smashed vodka bottles while the drinkers kids were throwing Fruit Shoot bottles into the loch. You need to travel further up before you escape them. Learned to drive in 2011.

Hi Chuckalicious, there was loads of rubbish strewn about, it looked like people had literally pulled up and emptied a wheelie bin out of their car. Such a shame but on the other hand I don't remember seeing any litter bins.

This was only our second trip to Scotland (aside from numerous weekends in Edinburgh), the first to Killin and this time to Mull but I think it's safe to say we're hooked now. It could be our new holiday destination as it always used to be the lakes before we moved here. Current 2008 Freel2 HSE

It is a wonderful place. Stunning with lovely people. But places like Loch Lomond are blighted by morons with cheap tents. There are never bins because it would be logistically impossible to keep them empty. It isn't hard to take your litter home.

The further north you go the better it gets. But explore Stirlingshire and Perthshire - great places. Learned to drive in 2011.
