My relative went from a Ford Territory that fell apart & cost a fortune to run to an Evoque a few years ago. The Evoque is a very nice car.
I panicked after returning from four months in Europe when I found out the Freelander was on it's last legs. I had looked at it two years earlier but didn't need a new car yet. I did as much research as possible with the limited information available & bought one of the last petrol Freelanders available. I was happy to wait for a DS but came to the conclusion that things were at the end of an era. The Evoque was a bit small & a D4 was too large for me & the small garage. The other half was keen on a Defender but I didn't want to be fighting over street parking. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device! In our local Northern Beaches paper a preview of the DS, LR marketing Australia said the Freelander is dead & buried, & the DS is a new car. I don't think LR Australia could have made it any clearer. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device! It may not be in the LR documents, taztastic, but LR sales team certainly have been calling DS the FL2 replacement. It's not of course!! We're still waiting for that …………….. | ||
