Ok all was fine no problem, parked up had a brew. Came out and started the car.

Car was in first gear. Dipped the clutch and started the car..BUT.... It Was like the clutch was not down and the car started in first gear with a bit of juddering but started.

On the drive home could hardly get into any of the gears. Pulled over , gears were then moving freely no problem. Started driving and then they hard to put in gear again. When I stopped they were moving freely again !!!

Now sometimes they ok and sometimes not..when stationery engine running fifth cannot be engaged. Sometimes they move freely and sometimes not and sometimes when engine running and sometimes not.... I dare not go anywhere now as don't know what will happen. Clutch appears to be working ok and had a new one over a year ago.

Just don't know what's going on. Absolutely love my FL2 but it's one thing after another...hope this is something not too expensive. Really had enough now.

Totally wondering what the heck is happening..all was fine until I started it in gear so to speak.

Would really like some help if anyone knows this or has had similar problem.

Might be worth checking the clutch fluid is not very low
Does the clutch feel normal when to press it down

Hi , yes the clutch feels normal.

I hope that this could be something as easy as that...that will be my first thing to check tomorrow.

I can't find the reservoir, looked at my Haynes manual..left hand plastic cover under the bonnet, nothing there haha, difference between manual and auto I am guessing...? Sorry for the stupid question ...

It's the same as the break reservoir, it is near the windscreen under a cover.

There is nothing there Rich, just a pipe with a plastic nut on it..... I was hoping I could see a resevoir somewhere to actually see the level of fluid...

Baffled...I am really not the best at these things hence being here

Got it....what a tool, but fluid is ok so obviously something major now...huge rip off out here also....will be four figures I am sure of that...

So the fluid levels are all ok, no sign of leakage....clutch operation is normal....but the gear change...if it works...sucks....was all fine until I started it up in first gear...had a new clutch about 18 months ago....

Trip to the garage it is ..

I have no idea what has happened but for dice the last post by me here the car has been perfect!! Even did a 500km trip the other day...no problem!! Baffled....
