Speed warning

Was playing with the set-up menu today and noticed something called speed warning. I went in out of curiosity and it was set at 156mph. I'm pretty sure the underpants warning system would have cut in well before then. I reset it down to 100mph, will be interesting to see what happens if I ever hit that speed. Does a chime sound/message or does it actually limit the speed? Anyone know. FL2 Metropolis, Loire Blue, ebony/ivory

Mine is set at 85, which is quite quick enough. Sets a bong off. No flames, smoke, sparks or anything nasty. FL2 Ex D2, D3, RRS, etc. now all gone.

Hopefully one of these years the proper adjustable speed limiter function will appear..rumoured when the 'uranium' engines come on board.
