Single press lock/unlock on the fob might fix this. Pretty sure it's covered in the manual. |

Sorry. Probably wasn't very clear with my description.

I haven't tried it but I believe that is what the small lock lever next to the door handle does, the rear passenger pulls that first, then the door handle and the door will open.

it is a feature to prevent children opening doors.

The OP has said the child locks are not activated, if they were then no amount of pulling or pushing from the inside would open the door.

EYorkshire - You are quite correct. Just tried it and it works as you described. As you say, a bit OTT.

Must admit it is sometimes annoying trying to explain to people that get a lift, how to get out |

There may be a difference in model years and it is 'Auto' specific, but with my 2013 model if I stop and put it in 'Park' I think it allows easy access out of the rear seats without the use of the lock lever, I know it allows the boot to be opened from the outside without the global press when I drop my wife off and she's hammering on the window to get her bags out of the back. |

It is normal for the rear doors to lock after move off. They are unlocked by the opening of either of the front doors or pressing of the lock/unlock button on the dash. Excellent safety feature! 10MY (Sept 09) TD4 HSE Auto in Stornoway Grey (Now Gone)
