I may be imaging it but after 12,000 + miles my Freelander HSE (190 BHP engine) seems to sound noisier from cold start up this winter. It does however get quieter after 10 miles or so. I'm sure it wasn't as obvious last winter. Has anybody else experienced this? Would filling up with diesel from Tesco make this difference?

Considerable knowledge within the articles posted and I guess there is good evidence to use it. But I'm risk averse during the warranty period. Will experiment though at the end of the year when my LR warranty runs out. |
