Recently failed on my 2009 FR2 with 59000 miles on the clock. Changed under the extended warranty that I pay for. Rather annoyed that a vehicle that is meant togo anywhere knocks a bearing out on light use. My dealer tells me its a known problem. I've asked LR why they've not recalled vehicles for inspections/replacement of parts but alas no reply yet. One to watch.

Yes it is a common fault. Mine went at 65k and my extended warranty paid. They also paid for the RNS wheel bearing and the throttle body that failed in the last year.

Loads of posts for other afflicted owners.

Hopefully that's the end of the stock faults 😁
