The IRD (intermediate reduction drive) was the issue with the FL1. It incorporates the front diff. It can be driven if noisy but is a pain to change and hence a bit pricey if you are paying someone to do it. John

My missus has got an FL1 and I just sorted out a problem on it using advice / threads on the 'Landyzone' forum. You will get all the help you need for a FL1 there. FL2 HSE Auto Galway Green
