Hello, I am a proud new owner of a Freelander 2 SE bought in brazil, first of all, I am very happy with the car and the forum is awesome.

I have a Few questions about the sound system on the LR2, I have the 7 speaker premium system, i think that is the one, It does not have the speakers on the trunk but it does have alpine written on the doors and it has the bluetooth faceplate. So my question is: Where is the stock amp located in the car? Does the original headunit sends the 14 speaker signals but the amp only processes 7 speaker or the headunit is different from the top of the line system?

And what size are the dashboard speakers (the ones close to the mirrors under the windshield) ?

I have a 5 channel alpine amp I would like to use, but would like to mantain the 7 speaker config, so I will probably get another amp to it.

I don't know how the speakers are wired, but the center speaker is about 4"
