Look out for my Black FL2 SE at Junction 2 of the morning stage (SS12) carrying out safety radio duties.
Having said that my official paperwork details the what appears to be a stringent security operation to prevent access to the forest except into the official car parks.
I have even had to obtain a "Local Resident" pass in addition to my "Official" to be able to access my Saturday night accommodation after the event as it is supposed to be massive.

Anyway have a great day out but make sure you have your heavy weather gear with you and allow adequate travel time as the BBC weather website forecast is for heavy rain and early morning fog.

Bill

PS Are there any locals to Dyfnant who can keep us up to date with the weather forecasts? Life Honorary Member of Wallasey Motor Club.

Parents live just SW of Oswestry, which is where I'll be "camping" on Friday night, so not far to travel.

From previous experience, that area tends to generate its own weather, so not sure a forecast from my parents would be much use - but I'll pass it on if I hear anything.

Isn't Pegleg pretty local to Dyfnant?

I'll drop Pegleg a PM and see if we can work out where everyone's standing......as long as he doesn't tell me the MotoGP result..... Laughing

Rossi wins again Rolling with laughter
Drivers drove around the Dyfnant stage yesterday as a recce and limited to 50mph.
The stage is much wetter than last year so should produce some nice slides.
It's still raining and the forecast thus so far is heavy rain Friday and through the night but clearing early Sat morning.
I will post further weather forecasts from tomorrow onwards under 'Events', 'WRC Dyfnant'

Choccy, yes, send a pm, no problem.

Bill, is this accommodation of your 5*?
