I'm getting a couple of new tyres fitted this afternoon and wondered where best to put them.

The fl2 doesn't have the fl1 issues with mismatched front and rear tyre wear.

When we bought our used FL2 from a dealer we made them do a service first as part of the deal and as part of it they replaced just the front left tyre as it was below 5mm. So either its not a problem or the dealers are unaware of any issues.

And after being told by the parts department that if I didn't have the key code I'd have to get a garage to chisel off the nuts and buy a new set ...

The manufacturers' advice is always to fit new tyres to the rear. have a look at their websites. Ex AA Series III LWB Safari - Gone
