| ad210358 Member Since: 12 Oct 2008 Location: Here and There Posts: 7464    | Yours is the Brink/Thule Detachable type, if it were me, knowing thet they have changed the design a couple of times, I would try and get the complete Towball and Reciever, it's only two bolts that hold the Receiver on, you won't be able to get them as a seperate unit unless you can pick up a used one from someone. | ||

He even loaned me his tools to fit it whilst I was there and served coffee and biscuits!  What a pleasure to meet a fellow Freelander 2 owner through this forum.

 For that money of course you could pick up a perfectly good complete used bar off the 'bay - and it could be a Witter! (which, IMO, is better)
