sunroof

Why oh why after hearing warning buzzers for low fuel, doors open, keys left in ignition etc etc, didn't LR fit a warning buzzer to tell you the sunroof is still open when you get out the car?

And yes I did get up this morning and look down at my FL2 covered in rain with the roof open a notch.......Again!

The way it's designed if you have the roof tilted open it's really hard to see that it's still open. Whistle

.....and why didnt LR give you the option to close the sunroof after you have stopped the motor Big Cry
After owning a BMW for 8 years that does have this option, it seems very difficult for me to remember to close the sunroof first Shocked
However the only time when I have forgotten to close it at night (about 25-times) it has fortunatly been in the garage Very Happy 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.

You would think that the sunroof would be linked to the keyfob so that it could be closed along with the windows once the locking button is held down. Its a real pain once you get out the vehicle and notice your sunroof still open as you have to reinsert the fob and hold the start/stop button before being able to operate the roof! i think the fact you can't close it when you have pulled the fob out is a PITA, close your windows but you can't do the sunroof Mad

The sunroof is not linked to the window closing "i was told" so you can close the windows with the fob whilst leaving the sunroof open for ventalation for a pet. Rolling Eyes Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Somebody needs to kick som a Censored s at LR if you ask me - that is absolutly c Censored p
On my BMW you pressed the key fob after leaving the car - the windows close first and then the sunroof and the same when opening them - gives you time to stop the roof from closing/opening so that little doggy can breath in the hot summer sun Rolling with laughter 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.
