Region Specific Forum

Hi,

As the users of LR cars are in increase, I would like to suggest that a region specific forum for teh Middle East is to be oppened. This will really participate in presenting problems faced by this user segment of the market such as dealer service problems, hot weather, special specifications and so on.

Just a thought. Rolling Eyes

Regards, Looking forward to be an owner.

Yes, we are suffering from gas prices (indirectly). The Dollar-Riyal Connection made the purchasing power of the Saudi Riyal to drop by almost 40%. Other gulf Countries are suffering less than the Riyal.

So, the price of one lieter of gas is SR 0.45 (for Octan 91) and 0.6 (for Otan 95), so, obviously it is less costly than a lieter of water (costs about 2 Riyals).

7p/l approx so if you get hot, its cheaper to sit in the car and enjoy the air-con than it is to have a glass of water.

It appears that a big reason for your inflation is importing food, so if you sell me some cheap fuel for my tractors I will in return give you a discount on the food I grow Thumbs Up .... there you go who needs politicians when you have CG around...next job 'world peace' At work

Norway 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Manual Stornoway Grey

Bought a tank of deisel at the weekend and was lucky to find a cheap filling station locally.
1 litre cost 13 Norwegian Kroner = £1.32 or 9.57 SAR in Shadeed's money.
I just wish our (also oil producing) countries retailed at the same price as they do in Saudi Thumbs Up 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.

Plenty more in the orchard and front garden too. Not really a big deal as farmhouses generally have big gardens. I pay a lad £10 a week to mow it for me Laughing . The farm actually belongs to the queen, I just rent it from her, so if you see her tell her I need new windows, mine are rotten..also the electric needs upgrading Thumbs Up At work
