Hi, just fitting the electrics to the new tow bar and need to remove the rear side trim and I am cautious not to do any damage. Does this just pop off?

Yes, I'd start at the nearest bit to the tailgate/window and merely tug quite hard from there, one plastic pop stud at a time. You'll need to remove the D anchor points first and manoeuvre the trim away from the rear rubber seal plus a couple of other obvious bits of small trim, like the moulded recesses on each side. Final point, open the rear doors to remove the plastic trim in that area.

Any trim pegs that didn't come away with the plastics remove and replace. Be careful refitting, make sure the plastic pegs are actually going in the holes and your not pressing them against the bodywork. They are easily distorted and ain't exactly cheap to replace. £2.50 a throw at last count.

Thanks Legoman, didn't want an 'Oops! Moment' so thought I would check. Have managed to get the panel off, electrics done and panel back on. I think the panel removal was the most difficult bit!
