2013 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Buckingham Blue

Has anyone else noticed that sometimes when you reach for the indicator stalk it pushes it forward to activate hi-beam very easily or is it just my butchers sausage fingers?

Keeps happening to me.

had it happen a few time, which has lead to a few waves by the car in front, and a few raised fingers too Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Yes, I've had that happen a couple times.

Have also 'over corrected' on the indicator too. On an odd occasion having decided to cancel the indicator manually you can accidentally activate the 3 flash option for the opposite signal.

Think I may have done it once or twice, but it is definately not as bad as other cars I've driven. Once you've tasted GREY you'll never go back!

My favorite trick is to press the mode switch when blowing the horn still pining for my 3dr, no removeable hardtop, no drop glass tailgate, no roof rack, no pockets everywhere to stow all that man kit

My dip/main action is still quite springy so no probs with that... but I've not done a whole lot of night driving so maybe it weakens a little with use? At work

Sometimes when I use the "flash to pass", when I release the stalk, the momentum of the stalk carries it too far forwards, engaging high-beam....

I got used to it now, so it doesnt happen so often '57 FL2 GS
