I can't believe what some people sell on eBay

A rolled over FL2 HSE that they states repairable Shocked

my old car was written off after a transit van took the front end off

God the black ones really mark up when they crash don't they?

A silver one would probably have a slight scratch that showed in some lights.......

Some larger companies that run large fleets of vehicles only insure Third Party Fire and Theft.
I think they find it cheaper to stand the risk themselves.
Therefore when a write off does occur, the vehicle is merely sold off by that company through the trade, and they just get whatever residual amount they can for it.
Just goes to show that even an HPI check may not tell the whole story.
Does anybody know whether they still reshell vehicles such as this these days or is that considered uneconomical?
