Here is my effort taking with my Sony compact camera at full zoom - no tripod so had a very steady hand! Really pleased with the results bearing in mind its a £300 compact.

Is that Darwen Tower on the horizon?

It certainly is Darwen Tower, or more correctly Jubillee Tower , it's the view from my window
