United States 2008 LR2 i6 HSE Auto Zermatt Silver
SiriusXM Satellite Channel Annoyance

Hey guys... Quick question:

My 2008 has Sirius in the Alpine package but because of its age it's unable to receive the Best of XM package. Since I've had my xm sub for over 10 years primarily to listen to Opie and Anthony, this really chaps my rump!

So... Options other than replacing the head unit or having wires all over the cab? Is there a satellite receiver portion that can be upgraded or am I just SOL, so to speak?

(And forgive any typos... Tapping away on my phone after a frustrating call with SiriusXM!)

Interesting... maybe they have realigned what is in the "Best of XM" package over the years, but I was able to receive the Opie and Anthony channel on my 2012 LR2... or perhaps the internals of the tuner changed over the years, even though the headunit still looks the same.

I know on my 2013 Evoque I received the O&A channel... I don't remember if an extra package was needed?

I'll set it up the same way once my 2015 LR2 gets here!

Of course, it might not matter much since the show is in question.
