United Kingdom 2012 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Indus Silver

So...the other half got the car stuck with these wranglers on today. Front two were new tyres, rear 18k old. She looks rather happy with herself Rolling Eyes

They're perfectly fine on road and dry fields...think we need a spare set for stuff like this in winter. Any suggestions?

England 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Manual Narvik Black

My son-in-laws 1976 Defender would sail through that bit of mud - asking a bit too much of a Freelander.
Did she change the terrain response mode? Tattoos - Why would you choose to look like the wall of a public toilet?

I'm surprised she got stuck in that. I'd have thought Wranglers would cope. Did she give it enough welly? It's important to remember that traction control only cuts in at fairly high revs, so the mud driving technique is very different from the traditional Land Rover low revs max torque method. You need to let the wheels spin and then the brakes operate to control it. In theory it should get you out unless all four wheels are spinning or the body is grounded. Ex AA Series III LWB Safari - Gone

Unable to order a new DS, so gave up. Now have a Volvo S90 Recharge.
