front parking sensors

my 2013my freelanderXS does not have front parking sensors, on ebay there is a set of sensors with wiring, bit off the wall but would any one know if these can be plugged straight in to an existing module? or is it better to go with an aftermarket set? Smile

Can't say with the later model but the pre 2012 models it could be done, try a search, but iirc you needed to change the Parking Sensor Module plus get it coded.

Fitting the sensors in the bumper is not to easy either, special hole cutter required, and parts have to be bonded to the inside of the bumper, these parts are hard to get.
Might be easier to wait and see if a Take Off bumper comes up on the bay complete with sensors.
