2008 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Narvik Black
FOB

My spare fob for my FL2 has gone completely flat - it won't unlock the doors. I left it too long in the cupboard. Would it still be alright to insert it into the dashboard, and will it start my vehicle?
I've still got the fully charged other one.

It should start the car, yes, and charge once docked. You may find that it doesn't regain full capacity, as rechargeables don't like being allowed to go completely flat, but there are posts on here which describe how to replace the battery should you need to.
