I have always understood this to be due to your car being recovered, it it likely to be accident damaged/written off/failed mechanically/all three - either way is likely to be off the road for some time (and possibly permanently).

I also understand that it is illegal to show two Number Plates to the rear. Also should should the vehicle be flashed by a speed camera, you could get the NIP instead of the AA vehicle. |

Nah, my car isn't on the road enough to get a ticket, unless it's for obstruction of the highway |

I am told it drives ANPR cameras crazy and sets up errant codes. 2012 GS Converted-

I must try to get the ANPR camera to look at two number plates to see what happens? It often picks up the ID number on keep left bollards |
