I have a similar staring problem at the moment, odd mornings it is very sluggish, failed to start on one occasion, connected charger which declared battery was full?

That's totally wrong. Should be at least 13.5V. Wouldn't bother with them if I was you |

IIRC 13.8v is what I was taught to look for whilst charging. 12.5v is bobbins. |

Just in case someone face a similar issue, I rewired a new earth and problem was solved till today |

Absolutely! With the alternator (ie engine) running you should be showing 14-14.4v. When fully charged, a 12v L/A battery will (should) show 12.8v at rest when engine is newly turned-off. I've decided to stop being a good example and will now just be a terrible warning..... 2008 TD4HSE - gone but much loved. 2014MY SD4 Metropolis - very much loved. |
