I had 2 problems with fitting a cb radio but have solved both of them reasonabily well.First problem was were to put the radio ,second the antenna.First problem solved by using a remote type radio with the controls on the mic and fitting the unit under the seat ,second took a while but I eventually found an antenna that sticks to the inside of the windscreen, it is almost clear and it efective and nobody knows its there. Cables fit neatly under the door trim and foot rail then under the seat . The antenna is called laser clear and is manufactured by laser- antenna.com dont know if they are avilable in uk .

Judging by the size of the antenna I guess you are operating in the 430-480 mhz range

thanks Guys really helpful. Running on the usual frequencies and the new bracket seems to be working fine having "off-road" tested it this weekend.
