Rouen is horrendous for traffic due to a fire last year that collapsed the main route bridge. Rouen is closed to through traffic in both directions and whilst you can navigate through both ways you need to be confident to ignore all the road closed signs and navigate so every tight. Back streets and a sweeping U turn across 8 lanes of traffic !

I have been over the Millau bridge a couple of times.......I still don't understand how it stays up! John

I still have the marks on my left arm where Mrs ad grabbed it when we came out of the Chamoise Tunnel, from past experience I knew what was coming but decided not to tell her |
