Maybe someone is interested to know that when the info comes up with "low washer liquide" you have about 1,6 litres left.
I have the Xenons so have the headlights washer also and the signal came up this morning so I filled up with 4 litres and I think it was ustabout full. they are big resevoirs for the washer bottle, though my hose pipe does tell me how much goes in

To be honest I wish I could turn the headlamp washers off - if your car is clean the headlamps washers spray all over your nice clean, shiney, bodywork ....

I drive with dipped headlamps all the time (as per Volvo - thats a different discussion -not for here) that means that every time you 'wash' the screen the headlamp washers operate - to be honest I don't think the headlamp washers are that effective - I don't mind stopping from time to time in weather to clean the lights properly. The overspray from the headlamp washers is huge and thats why they spray pedestrians so well. If someone is waking close to the car and you activate the screenwash (with the headlamps on) anyone within 10 metres get a face full.

This can be a good trick to play if you're stuck in town centre traffic !!!

Tried it on Mrs Avtur recently, as we were setting off on a trip I asked her to get out and check the front nearside wheel, while she was looking at the wheel I activated the screen wash .... wow did she get a shower ... boy did I suffer for that ... much more fun with unknown pedestrians ....
