Mine seem to take a while to heat up, maybe 10 mins or so but once up to temperature, they certainly are toasty.

I see, I remember the old one, I had to turn it down to one after 20 mins or so......bit of a shame. I like the new centre console but still wish it had more storage. Still pound for pound the best car on the road though !!!! |

Not at all, here with mornings of 2 degrees it probably takes 4-5 minutes before i can feel the warmth coming through and nice and toastie after 10 minutes. Certainly hot enough for me to turn it down to 'heat 1' setting. |

Seats - never had heated ones before in any car. A few minutes and they are more than warm enough... but personally I don't want them to be too hot.

The heated seats have different levels of heating/temperatures, depending on the settings on the car's configuration file.

Just out of curiosity Alex, can the Steering Wheel heating also be adjusted by Diagnostics? Foraging near Gaydon....

No, it can't... And the above are true for pre MY2013 cars. The below are the values for MY2013 and on...

I have never had the heated seats on for more than a few minutes. I would be worried that excessive use could have an adverse effect on the leather. Surely one's posterior imparts enough heat to the seat after five minutes or so?
