My FL2 first registered 07Mar13 is booked in for its first service 03Mar14 which is within the 12 month period from first registration date.

My question is, if I book the car in for its second service say 06Mar15 which is over 12 months from its first service but within 24 months of first registration. Will this overlap void the 3 year manufacturers warranty.

i have been told they allow 30 days either side for servicing, though i always try to get it done as close to the day to give them less room to wiggle

Yes 12 months or 15000 miles is correct but the question is how strict is the 12 month period between servicing.

Landrover told me my warrenty on my D2 was void as I had gone past two months but 5k under for its service.

I think you will find LR are more flexible than you think.
