Got a cheap pair of Hi Tec Kruger boots from Go Outdoors about 4 yrs ago for under £20 in sale , and surprised they lasted this long , however its time to renew and have a budget around £110 .

Everyone to their own, but for me it's Brasher supalite. (Gaynors are often doing a good deal online) |

My Meindl burma leather boots lasted years but i recently replaced them with a north face pair, very comfy and loads of support.

A lot depends on your feet. I have always worn Brashers. You'll find Brasher Hillmasters on sale for £100-120. They are ultra-comfortable and mine have lasted well. However they don't have a steel shank so are not suitable for crampons. I bought some Scarpas once and had to give them away - just couldn't make them fit my feet. |

Don't know about the boots you have listed but I agree with Snappa about Meindl boots. I have a pair of them - Gore Tex hiking boots and they have been excellent for 5 years and still going. I use them on shoots and clay shooting and occasional "country walks". I will be taking them to Norway next week as they are warm very comfortable and keep my feet dry.

I'm a Meindl man too. I have broad forefeet and narrow heels; the Meindl last seems to match me well and I'm on my second pair. First eventually let the water in so I got Goretex liner last time - a bit warmer in the summer as they don't seem to breath as well but spot-on the rest of the year.

Got the Brasher Hillwalker GTX today at Go Outdoors , glad I went and tried them on as opposed to mail order , size 10 were just a little too short and was pleased they had 10.5 in stock . |
