It just occurred to me that I am very lucky to be able to own and run (just lol) a freelander 2 at the age of 29. I'm a local musician (I also study a full time course at the Royal College of Music and self funded too) Whilst I know this isn't the youngest age to own one, it is fairly young age to be owning one of these types of vehicles!! a lot of people here give the impression they are 40 + so I just thought it would be interesting to see how many other people out there are at a young age and loving the ownership of these amazing cars?

As much as I love my cars, I would rather spend my extra cash on a nice holiday than use it towards another car. |

haha that's awesome!!! yeh I've always loved my cars and motorbikes!! its great that we can enjoy cars like this without being completely broke!! I don't smoke or drink either! age shouldn't be a factor but for cars like discovery/range rovers they are usually driven by middle aged blokes purely because its taken all that time for them to work up to a job salary that enables them to afford such a thing. hah |

How times have changed! The reason you see more older people driving expensive cars is simple, we bought houses first. When I was younger it was all about moving out and living independently albeit renting or buying then once settled you went onto other luxuries. And before you all shout that you can't afford to get on the housing market now, £20-30k cars would make a great deposit. That's why we all drove old, rusty and very cheap cars until now!! |

I do, what I meant was, if I had a specific amount of money to go towards a new car or a nice holiday, I would always choose the holiday first. |
