No drilling should be necessary. The brackets bolt to the spoiler & clamp it to the body of the car. Unmoveable. ...

Definitely no drilling required - The brackets just hook over the edge of the tailgate to hold it in place (added security for the 3m tape).

I have stainless fixing on mine - the ones powerfuluk supplied started to rust a little |

Ahh yes had a proper look at the brackets and you don't have to drill.
