I, for one, I pressure washed the engine without any precautions.

Most of the Freelander 2/ LR2's engine bay is covered in removable plastic pieces. I simply pull off the engine cover, air filter box, battery cover etc... one by one then take them inside and clean them in the laundry sink. Any pieces that are too hard to remove are lightly sprayed (hosed) and wiped with cloth.

No need to cover anything. All the electrics are well protected. I do mine once every year and have done for 6 years. Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come......... |
