Now I am over 65, my LGV entitlement (C+E), only lasts a year. I have to have a medical every year (at a cost of £55 this year |

It has also been advised to take a copy of your licence, as they deny you had the groups in the fist place, a number of caravan owners have lost their entitlement to tow anything over 3.5 ton GTW. p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior |

Dunkley201, Driver CPC started in Sep 2008 for PCV & Sep 2009 for HGV licence holders, each with 5 years to complete 35 hours of approved training. The deadline to complete the training is therefor Sep 2013/14. Then the next 5 year period begins! If one passed your car driving test before 1997, then you are entitled to drive a vehicle up to 7.5 tonnes (plus trailer) & similar passenger vehicles.

unciepaul. I know that - I've done the modules! that's why (for me) my CPC will need to be renewed 5 years from Sept 2014 (not that I intend to - too old). My statement applied to my situation, which is correct. 10MY (Sept 09) TD4 HSE Auto in Stornoway Grey (Now Gone)
