So your an Englishman and live in Scotland and you cant work out why the seagulls pick on your car? The Scots give the gulls a fish for every bomb on target of course |

Don't worry they'll be back. Just bombed the bigger target first and went back to reload. The FL2 must look like a carrier to them. Lucky they don't try landing ![]() ![]() |

I saw a seagull last year trying to frantically choke down a whole slice of bread before his mates came and robbed him of his meal. Spent the next 20 mins watching it trying to force the massive bit of grub down it's gullet, protect what food was on the ground in front of it and try to call off the other gulls with strangled cries.

When I first went away to sea in the early 70's some of the crew used to kill seagulls by throwing them lumps of bread that had been well coated with baking powder.............................. greedy turds would gobble down the bread and fly away only to explode about 3 minutes later. Cruel I know and it had little effect on the seagull population, but they are also detested at sea as well - for exactly the same reason as they are hated on land.

That was one of the favourite pastimes in the Falkland Islands when guys are stationed there......not much else to do other than watch seals and kill gulls according to my father who had many a stay there. I've not had a single bit of bird poop on my Fl2 since getting it....but also don't see seaulls here either ![]() |
