Got the car back yesterday ,now has full black leather .....

Got the car back yesterday ,she now has full black leather,it was part of the deal when we brought the car but we took the car with cloth trim as the trimmers had a waiting list
very glad we did wait as the trimmers the LR garage use are ace.
They retrimmed our cloth seats and we now have perforated and solid black leather
i will post a pic when i have downloaded the pics from the camera phone on to photo bucket
hope you are all having a good weekend cheers David L

Is the new leather trim you have had fitted, custom made or is it original Land Rover Question
I ask cos its only the facings on the LR leather that is "real leather" Shocked and wondered if the custom guys use real leather all round Confused 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.

Then you got a very good deal - I was a little disapointed that the LR leather is only the facings (bits you sit on) Shocked The sides/front and back is PLASTIC Shocked Crying or Very sad Evil or Very Mad 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.

F2 isn't the only LR that gets leather-a-like plastic - the S and SE versions of the RRS also get plastic trim and I was shown an RRS with the Alcantra inserts by James at Charles Hurst last week and that also had plastic leather on the vertical sides and back of the seat, and you pay extra for it on the RRS if you want the Alcantra trim as well Rolling with laughter ! How can carbon have a footprint, it has no feet?
Now driving - RRE Coupe Dynamic Lux Auto with Plus pack, Fuji White, Ebony, SD4 with tow pack
Gone - 2010MY FFRR TDv8 Stornoway and Ivory, Privacy - the pace of a TDv8 RRS, the incomparable grace of a Range Rover
Gone but will be missed- RRS Tdv8 HSE Stornoway Grey with Ebony Leather
Gone (only a little missed) RRS Tdv6 2.7SE Giverny Green/Aspen
Defender 90 County HT in Epsom Green

I thought all BMW's had the same as well, so it isn't specific to LR, but agree it kind of defeats teh object of calling something "full leather".
