Good off-roading places in Germany

As I am going on holiday in Germany in a bit over a month I am trying to find some places to to a bit of off-road in Germany.
I'll be near Aachen/Koln so that Belgium or the Netherlands are also an option
Any suggestions?

Very difficult to off road in Germany - almost everything is restricted. If you are near Aachen you could hop across the border to belgium where things are a bit more liberal. I have some Garmin GPS tracks for some nice off road trails around Tongeren area including a large disused quarry where 4x4's and MX bikes regularly go to play.

Seconded! Don't try it in Germany unless you're sure you're allowed. - Mike

Thanks. I have a Garmin nav myself. Could you give me the coordinates?
