DB9 Nah,

Loads up here in Aberdeen!

You need a Ferrari in Rosso Red - met a guy who had one of those in Italy in a cafe whilst driving the passes in the SD4. He was a nice guy but looked about 12, his car was fabulous Bow down

Will never be able to afford a Ferrari - but intend to buy another Porsche

What was we doing in Italy?

Decided to drive from Innsbruck to Italy so that we could enjoy a pizza Whistle

200 mile trip, it was worth it over the passes - the pizza was okay as well Rolling with laughter 'There is thunder' then 'There is the warble of a V8'

Been to Italy at least ten times - lovely place! Bow down

This year my Freely did over 3000 miles on holiday in Austria/Germany with a quick trip into Italy, a leisurely drive through France to stay in Belgium prior to going home in Scotland - did not miss a beat. Was not all towing as my caravan stays on the Swiss border! Was on holiday whole of July so had excellent weather. Neutral

Have toured the states (mid 80s) and would love to have another trip over there, need to start planning that for the future.

My holiday next year is already accounted for - will be going back to Germany for whole of July. Very Happy

Post us a post card from New York Thumbs Up 'There is thunder' then 'There is the warble of a V8'

Chris,

Can you provide some information on your trip to Spain?

How you got there/ how long it took to get there/ where you went whist there?

Might consider it for a future venture.

Have been to Spain many times - but have flown etc

Just to put a damper on the French speedy thing, it is actually taken from the gross train weight figure shown on the vin plate, stick any trailer on the Freelander and your speed limit falls to 56mph, the logic of our friends across the water takes some wondering, as the way the law is written means you can stick a 1500kg trailor or caravan on the back of a Golf and drive unrestricted, put a 900kg trailor/caravan on the back of a Freebie and you are immediatly restricted to the lower speeds and are supposed to display the 80 & 90kph plates on the back of the trailor as well.........how much notice to the Gendarmarie take? I know not, but their are a few caravans about with the new speed stickers displayed.

England

Incorrect on the stickers, the stickers are only required on French registered vehicles and not on private trailers and caravans attached to UK vehicles. p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior
