Do MOT's actually serve any purpose? as long as a car passes the test AT THE TEST TIME the rest of the year it can be a "shed on wheels". Proper number plates for the test and show plates for the rest of the year, as one example Ex 2010 Freelander2 GS-e Diesel manual Silver owner |

Retro fitting self levelling would be both time consuming and expensive, there are sensors linked to the rear suspension for starters. You could have the manual levelling but it wouldn't be legal. p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior |

Just to reinforce Steve D's advice, I've just had my MY2011 Freelander MOT'd for the first time at the main LR dealer in Bristol (Guy Salmon) today and the car was passed despite having MY2013 Xenon's fitted with no auto-levelling device.
