I agree with the (non) use of supragard. Had it done on my last kosrae green FL2 and it didn't really seem to offer any benefit over normal shampoo and polish.

turtle wax , 'wax it wet' spray on wet car after washing and towel off, sounds a bit naff but works a treat, no water marks and a good shine, do windows as well leaves them spotless.

I use the werkstat 'glos' just after a wash, can be applied wet and towel dried.

I need to get some wax. My car is filthy after the 2000 mile round trip to Spain! |

I used to take my car down to the hand car wash where they do a good job, but after hearing what you guys do I though I would give it a try. I use the 2 bucket method, microfibres cloths, and a squeegee. Going to attempt at waxing it before the summers over as I'm not too keen at washing it when the weather turns cold! |

And if you've been taking your car to the hand car wash, I wouldn't at all be surprised if the damage is already done.

I watched my local, put their mitts chami leathers on the dirty concrete floor and jet wash them clean, or I put it, blast a load of grit deep into their cloths |

I use Poorboys World QD+ to sort watermarks. Failing that Chris, just use a decent drying towel, washing your car when it's cool?
