Hi all....one of my rear windows is doing a strange thing ....it goes up and down in increments and they seem to be constant in how it does it .... It does it on both the front and back controls .... I got sent some spray for the runner and it hasn't helped at all ,as it's not sticking ,but stops then release the switch and operate it again then goes up slightly and stops again.....
i did all the re-programming you can do for the windows from the switch and this didn't help either ....

any thoughts guys ...

Just a thought, some vehicles are current sensitive on the window motors, so if someone gets an arm trapped it will hurt but do no lasting damage. So if you have a motor/wiring fault and you are taking excess current the window will move up a short distance, then it will cut out, and wait to be restarted.

My 03 Skoda was like this, great as it does less damage to the motor when the windows are frozen. my 06 FL1 just had fuses, and would go for movement until the fuse blew!

I know it was a few weeks back ,but after messing about and sort of giving up with the window problem i got a new key programmed and thought nothing of it .....i used the window the other day and it now works fine ....

not sure if when he plugged in he see some faults come up and cleared them ...
