Yeah, well done Murray.
But England to win the next World Cup? I'd love to see that too, but as Capt Mainwaring would put it 'Beyond the realms of fantasy'. Another member of the failed FL2 clutch/DMF club, twice.

Think you should have read the last post on page 1 of this thread Laughing

Don't knock our footballers; they are highly intelligent Whistle

Such as;
"I've had 14 bookings this season - 8 of which were my fault, but 7 of
Which were disputable."
Paul Gascoigne

This is my favourite;

To Tommy Lawrence after he let the ball go through his legs and into the goal.
Lawrence “Sorry boss I should have kept my legs closed”
Shankly “Don’t worry Son its not your fault, it was your Mother who should have kept her legs closed” Another member of the failed FL2 clutch/DMF club, twice.

??? Stevenson? Truly a classic side AND a far better sports ethic than is seen in today's football.

Whilst most of the "talent" on show in the Premier League is foreign and totally overpaid, there's no chance of the England team ever winning anything. Spoilt brats united these days, with team strengthening done via the chequebook rather than youth team development. You wouldn't see Murray coming out of a nightclub in the early hours totally bladdered when he's in training. Footballers as athletes? More like muppets Razz Ours - 2008 Stornoway Grey HSE Auto

What's Scotland's chances of a World Cup entry never mind win Laughing

We are the only fans that think when we are getting beat 6-0 we can still win 7-6 Laughing the tartan army you can't beat them. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200

"think when we are getting beat 6-0 we can still win 7-6"

That's the right attitude though! Far better than dullsville 1-0 or 0-0 draws.

You lot are still pretty good at caber tossing aren't you? And, of course, you've now got a Wimbledon Champion - that's better than the English Thumbs Up Ours - 2008 Stornoway Grey HSE Auto
