Footage from my mate's dash cam, following me through the ford at Bulford - during our Salisbury Plain green lane trip. Quality isn't brilliant but thought I'd share it anyway.

That looks great. Did you mudflaps effect ground clearance? |

Oh yes, just looked in your gallery. I ordered some from powerful uk. I'm going to fit them soon as I think the make the car look lower. I haven't gone off roading yet, but I don't think that they should effect ground clearance too much.

Powerful uk do them for £45. They might help keep the Santorini black clean. |

Yep, mudflaps are a complete waste in fords.

My dads D2 had mudflaps and they never came off (as far as I can remember). I need to find some fords around Surrey. |

That has historically been out of bounds as a public RoW. Is it now upgraded to a Permissive Byway?

Our group leader was using a route mapped out by the expert who worked out the navigation for us as an overall group, we were told he wouldn't let us go somewhere we shouldn't so I presume all was OK. There were plenty of others using the same route. 2020 Defender D200 110S Pangea Green Gone: 2018 L550, TD4 SE Tech Auto, Carpathian Grey Gone: Defender 90 200Tdi, Grey Raptor Gone: 2012 FL2, TD4 GS Manual, Santorini Black |
