Well after five years of generally trouble free motoring I have sold my trusty Freelander 2. I have to say it has been a great car, done everything I have asked of it and at times it has surprised me at how capable it is.

What did shock me is how little LR offered me on a trade in, but in the end I got what I considered a fair price selling privately.

I have a few spares that didn't go with the car and they will be listed on here, so hopefully someone else will get the use out of them.

I have also found this forum and its members to be very helpful and I hope in a small way I have contributed. I wish you all well and who knows, if I ever have the urge for a small 4WD again Landrover will be my first choice.

What are you getting instead?

Still undecided, it was going to be a new 5 series, but I still have a 330i (E90) so may just run this until something takes my fancy.
