OK - I used the chip repair kit recently purchased and followed the instructions to the letter. unfortunately it was quite messy, with the resin going everywhere, and the supplied syringe sucked out most of the resin when the vacuum was applied leaving not a lot over the chip in the windscreen. After leaving the vehicle for the recommended times to get any air out of the resin it was hard to remove the syringe/housing from the screen as the supplied sticky pad was stuck luck $%^& to the proverbial blanket. Anyway...

I had several small chips. I was going to let the windscreen crack during next winter, but a large chip came and finished the job. Now I've got a new windscreen. |
